‘What Does the Elephant Smells Like?’ is an immersive digital environment exploring Elephant and Castle's cultural smellscape through a sensory map that captures unique olfactory experiences. Designed in Unity and published online, I also made an Android version.

It features three main functions: mapping scent distribution, uncovering local food and culture, and facilitating collaborative exploration. The platform not only highlights the area's diverse scents but also deepens its cultural understanding.

‘What does the Elephant Smell Like’ aims at preserving vital urban memories, enhancing community cohesion, and reducing culture and language barriers. Particularly engaging young locals, newcomers, and visitors, the project fosters deep connections with Elephant and Castle’ urban and cultural landscapes.
