Our design purposal called Heartbeat space is a click and collect pickup space that provide a immersive sensory experience that costumers can see their heartbeat been translated into light waves while they collect their online orders.
My role is to realising the digital simulation of the heartbeat sensor, by using Rhino for 3d modelling and Unity for digital animation. And I also perform in the conceptual video.

Size? Meets Health
During the pandemic, we noticed that people tend to take more care about health especially our breath, heart, body data.
At the same time, Covid has impacted the sales of physical stores. We all know that just receiving a parcel at home for costumer and brand is not enough. So we hope to encourage our costumers to participate more in the offline store to feel the passion of sports.

A rotating mirror ball as a guide is hanging on top of the staircase. The costumers would be drawn to the light spots mapped out on the staircase and the sound of heartbeat. They are at a transitional preparation stage and eager to know what is hide on the first floor.

The main experiencing setting for the first floor is a mesh array of light bulbs suspended from the ceiling.
These immersive experiences would push the costume to keep walking inside to know how to interact with the light mesh.

At the end of the first floor, there will be shelves containing shoes for collection and some new season products.
Additionally, heartbeat sensor will be applied on some of the drawers' handles, and connect with the Arduino to control the light bulbs. They could input their heartbeats when they touch on the sensor.

We're testing a heartbeat system with Arduino, analyzing how light interacts with sensors. Customers can adjust bulb brightness to mimic heartbeats, with light waves indicating energy levels similar to a healthcare device. Multiple inputs can merge or dissipate, affecting the overall pattern.
